So I heard about this blog hop hosted by Susan Lenart-Kazmer's Objects and Elements Blog and thought I would join in!
All of the participants are showcasing projects using ICE Resin. Susan gave me some at a show a while back and I have enjoyed using it. Do you remember the rings I showed you in the last post? Well, here they are completed!
I adhered different materials to the inner dome and then added miniature tintypes. Here are some close-ups...
I also used the ICE resin for a new batch of Altered Gems pendants...see how nicely it domes up with the surface tension?
And here are some miniature tart tins that I collaged with tintypes and resin. They will be made into pendants also...
Here is a listing of all of the ICE Resin Blog Hop participants! Stop by and see what everyone is up to!
And the members of the Objects and Elements Design Team:
And now on to what you are really waiting for...the names of the winners in the give-aways!
The One World One Heart event was lots of fun!! Thanks again to Lisa Swifka who put so much hard work into this successful event! Sadly, I did not make it to all of the over 1000 participants' blogs, but the list will remain on Lisa's blog for about 6 months, so perhaps I will get a chance this summer to travel the world. A huge "Thank you!" to everyone who stopped by my blog and took the time to leave a comment. There were 242!!! Here is the screen as I prep the random number generator...
And here is the list of numbers, with 38 being the winning number!
The thirty-eighth comment was left by Dolores Marple ! Congratulations Dolores! She won this pendant...
And there were 27 entries in the blog anniversary give-away! Fiona selected a hopper (hah!) to put the names in...a Peeps plush Easter basket...
And drew the name...
Beth wins a copper heart enameled in the color of her choice! Again, a humongous "Thank you!" to all of you intrepid souls who stuck around for a year and to all of you newbies who plan on keeping an eye on me as I make my way through this next year.
I will leave you with a few things. A batch of copper shapes ready for the enameling kiln...
And you know how a haircut can make you feel like a new woman? Well, I had mine cut and then the stylist started to blow it dry, which I never do because it just frizzes. I decided to keep my mouth shut to see where she was going with it and lo and behold, she made it straight! I have NEVER in my life had straight hair. I would see the info-mercials about the straightening irons and be convinced that the curl would never bounce back! Fiona asked me when "the real mommy hair" was coming back because this new hair freaked her out! Mommy wouldn't mind keeping this hair around...
Ok, enough computer! I have to go back to feverishly working on putting everything together for Art and Soul in Vegas. Leaving on Saturday! Eeek!
