So I imagine the resounding thunks I am hearing tonight are all of you falling out of your chairs upon realizing that I have FINALLY posted after a looooong hiatus. I have plenty of excuses but don't want you to have to sit through all of that. I hope to post individually about Art and Soul Vegas, Adorn Me, ArtFest and an opportunity to show at Marburger Farms (part of that big Round Top antique show here in TX) in the near future. Having said that, in the next few weeks I am participating in the Fiesta Arts Fair in San Antonio, the Austin Fine Arts Festival, Handmade Austin Women Show and Art and Soul in Hampton. I am having anxiety fits already over inventory, so as you can see, blogging has taken a back seat. I do apologize for that. But enough of the boring fine print...
We had a lovely, relaxing family Easter celebration today out at the family ranch and I enjoyed snapping some photos...enjoy!
Fiona finding eggs in the front pasture...
Contemplation...
Almost as good as Halloween!
My brother is usually the event photographer...note the humongous camera. Here he is inside the concrete house my father is building...
If you have concrete, you must have sand! Do you remember the days when a pile like this could keep you occupied for hours? It was an hour and a half for these guys...
Sorry ladies, he is quite taken!
And last but not least, some of the roses blooming in my garden today. I wish there was a widget that would allow you to bury your nose in these as I did! I find it amusing that I am drawn to art (hah!) that tends towards a palette of platinum, cream, black and beige, but my garden must have eye-popping colors! Go figure...

Such lovely photos. I am so excited to see more.It looks like you have a wonderful family. God bless.
